S-s-s-soup ! Brit's Hearty Chicken Noodles

A great soup to me always has LOTS of noodles and fillers and this one does just that!

You will need

(This makes a BIG recipe, full double handle pot worth, easy to freeze half. So half the recipe if you prefer!)

3 to 4 large chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)

8 cups of veg or chicken broth

Celery chopped

Zuchinni chopped

Yellow onion diced

2 russet potatoes peeled and diced

Green onion chopped

Red pepper flakes

parlsey

oregano

Garlic salt or powder

butter

4 c Ramen, rice or egg noodles

Start by cooking your chicken and shredding it with your hand mixer. Add some spices in when cooking chicken for extra flavor

Now chop and dice all your veggies

Prepare your broth if using chicken stock powder, if using ready made broth you can skip this step!

Put your large pot on burner and turn onto medium. Add in big dollop of butter and add your veggies and spices in and sautee your veggies until aroma runs nice and onions run clear

Now add your broth in and bring to an almost rolling boil

Add your noodles and cook until tender

Now add your chicken and any final spices to taste

Let cool and enjoy with warm rolls or bread!

Veggies and spices totally interchangeable in this recipe as well to your taste!

Potato isnt normally seen in chicken soup but it adds a hearty touch, try swapping out for sweet potato for a yummy flavor and color addition!

Let me know if you try it!

We have soup probably twice a week in the cold months here and we love it!
